Subject: [TNMARSHA] DONNELL pre 1850's,WILLIAMS, TANKERSLEY, MORRIS

Hello-
Am looking for any information on the Donnell family in Marshall Co. prior to
1850's. Am wondering if there was one or two that wandered in from NC, then
passed away, prompting the children to leave. Presently I know that;
John R. Donnell b. Tn. 1819 married Manervia WILLIAMS in Marshall county,
1851.
James A. Donnell ( gr-gr-gr grandfather, b. Tn. 1829) married Mary Jane
TANKERSLEY in Marshall County, 1850.
Martha Donnell married John H. MORRIS in the 1850's.
These families were all then accounted in the same KY county in the 1860
census, along with a Washington Donnell, then turned up again out in Western
Tennessee together.
Presently, I cannot find the males (with correct ages) accounted anywhere in
the 1850 Tn. census, except for Washington Donnell, who was already up in KY.
Several references in Marshall Co. minutes (1840-42) mention the minors of
William Donnell, and a 'Martha C' is mentioned, as well as Samuel and David
Donnell as wards.
Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.
