Hi, my name is Thomas Hunter, and I am a very distant relation of
Rebecca Cummings Williamson Lunn through her mother, Mary Hunter. I am
updating my Hunter family tree, and my main source on the Williamson family
and descendants is a family tree created by Mark Williamson. The info you
specifically seek is not there, and if Mark could not find it then it must
be hard to find, but still he is another family contact for you, as well as
the fact that you will find a decent family tree of Rebecca's family. Go to
www.rootsweb.com and under the heading "search engines and databases" click
on "world connect project" (family trees) and follow instructions. I know
this doesn't help with your questions, but I hope it will provide some new
info.
The one problem I have with the Williamson tree is that it only lists
deceased family, so it ends with what I think is your grandfathers family.
I am attempting to be as complete as possible with my family compilation,
and your side of the family should be a part of it in its entirety. If you
have no objections, would you please send me your family tree from John R.
Lunn, who, if I'm correct, was your great grandfather. I would be happy to
include your family. My Hunter family compilation begins with John and Mary
Hunter, who came to America in 1759. They were great grandparents of
Rebecca Lunn.
So I hope I have helped some, if there is anything else concerning these
family that you think I could help with, please feel free.
