Chestnut Ridge Cousins Association Annual Meeting

Date: June 11-12

Place: Lynchburg, TN.

Rates $62.00 plus tax per night ONLY 6 ROOMS LEFT

All events for the two day meeting will take place at the MASONIC LODGE just off of the town square.

Reunion Registration Fee: $10.00 per family

The Friday evening session will be a Welcome and Get Acquainted Reception with a catered barbeque dinner. Welcoming to Lynchburg will be from Mr. Bill Thomas. Official Arrival time is 6:00 p. m.

Events for the Saturday session are:

9:00 a. m. until noon
CRC Annual Business Meeting
After a short business meeting Mr. Russell O'Neal past president of the Lincoln County Genealogical Society will speak. Mr. O'Neal will share with us some thoughts from his research of our families settling in "The Ridge".

At noon we will break for lunch. There are many good eateries in Lynchburg and everyone is on their own. My understanding is that Miss Mary Bobo's has a seating at 1:00 p. m. You do need to make reservations if you intend on dining there.

We would like to encourage each to come back after lunch to exchange information about our families. We are intending to set up display tables for each to display their family research. You may also bring old pictures and / or old family relics of interest. There may also be some time to travel out to some of the old family cemeteries of the area.

The Saturday evening events will conclude with a dinner meeting with our cousin Dr. Patricia West speaking to us. The arrival time for this meeting is 6:30 p. m.. Dr. West has roots in "The Ridge" area and has done a lot of research. You may view her web site at: www.websitewiz.com.
