Researching Nathaniel BUCKINGHAM of 1850-1860-1870 Marshall Co that has some sort of family connection to Kibble TERRY of 1850 Marshall Co.( 1840 Bedford Co and 1860 Decatur Co TN) He is listed as Nathaniel BUCHANNON on a 1850's court record as a wittn. for Kibble TERRY. Nathaniel is in Lauderdale Co AL with Kibble's brother John TERRY in 1840. Family tales "suggest" that the wife of Kibble Terry was Nathaniel's sister OR the wife of Nathaniel has a Terry connection.
I found a William Buchannan ( wife appears to be Sarah) that has a John Harkness as guardian to his children in 1842, one being a NANCY SMITH BUCHANNAN b abt 1821. Kibble TERRY has a dau. named NANCY SMITH TERRY b abt 1825. How are these two families connected?. Kibble's dau. Sarah is living next door to Nathaniel's son William in 1870 Decatur Co TN.
