Law's Hill is a typical forgotten cemetery. Maybe 40-50 folks at rest out there off 31A. two years ago the land was sold and developers have turned the surrounding area into a housing community, Horton Cove. The small hill on which the cemetery lies is sorrounded by the development. I visited there a couple of months ago from CA, and the cemetery was disshevelled and overgrown - worse than when I saw it three years earlier, so no reason to be anything but worried for all those graves including my 2x-great grandfather. However, the "discovery" of Law's Hill has created community interest. A newspaper article got the ball rolling, and now, with help from the developer, the tall, prickly weeds have been eradicated, stones uprighted, and there is a pledge to replace the old fence. So hooray for the community! I know there are so many more that need assistance, but there's onw less for the time being.
