Noah lived on about 20 - 40 acres ( very rough hilly ground ] on the
battlefield of Shiloh, a map showing the home site , along with his
neighbors, & the positions of the U.S.A & C.S.A. troops is in the book " The
Battle of Shiloh " and is also shown at the actual, Shiloh National
Battlefield Park, Hardin Co. Tn.

Eunice Peeples Cantrell, the second wife of James Wesley Cantrell is
believed to have lived with Noah Cantrell as she was on the battlefield when
the engagment started, she left with or before the retreating C.S.A. on
their withdrawl to Corinth, Ms. [ " with 3 children and leading a milch cow
" ]

Lived on the Shiloh, Tn. battlefield, Harden Co. Tn. April 6 - 7, 1862

James Wesley Cantrell died April 21, 1858, Eunice , lived on a farm owned by
his brother Noah Cantrell

During or imediately after the Battle at Shiloh, Eunice with 3 children and
a milch cow traveled to Corinth, Ms., with the retreating Confederate
troops.

Her Bible belongs to [ 1960 ] Mrs. W.R. Moore, Ardmore Ok.

Margaret Baj, returned to the USA in 1909 for a visit.

She returned to the USA for a visit on Sept. 24,1916 from Italy . She was
listed at age 43, Her husband Lodovico Baj was with her, He was age 46. They
were on thier way to Murray Hill Hotel in N.Y. City.

They had been in Milan with his mother Teresa Baj at 14 Via Maria Tulc????
