In reference to cemetaries being destroyed, they do not have to be out in the
woods for that to happen. The cemetary where some of my ancestors are buried
in Monroe Co. is adjacent to a church which is still active. At some point in
the past, someone had the bright idea to clean the cemetary with a tractor or
dozer & destroyed many old headstones in the process. My gggparents markers
were among those destroyed & now we do not know the excact location of their
graves.
