I hope the rest of you are as mortified abt these cemetery/gravestone
abuses as I am. I could find nothing over the internet that is being
done abt this problem in my beloved state of Tennessee. This outrage
should be a crime! Given that geneology is the nation's #1 hobby, you
and I aught to be able to make an impact.

As an example of a good grassroots movement, I encourage you to visit
this website abt the Indiana Pioneer Cemeteries Restoration Project.

For those of you who live in Monroe Co and elsewhere in TN, are you
aware of any such project trying to get organized locally? How can
those of us who live outside the state help?
