I've finally finished revamping my websites called "Valley River Relatives"
and "Kinfolks in the Knobs," and they are up and running. Hopefully, all
broken links are now reparied. Thanks for your help in letting me know
links needing attention! Especially, you, Cat! Thanks! I'm now using
Rootsweb for all but "3rd Tennessee Mounted Infantry Regiment, USA" which
will remain at Compuserve's homepages.

Also, Rootsweb Freepages,the server, has been off line while making some
revisions themselves. So, my websites weren't accessible for the last
couple of days and a day or so before Christmas. Their email this morning
said Freepages was up again because of many long hours of extra work. One
new thing I've noticed is that they have created a new default page for
links that aren't working.

As far as new additions, I've added a new link called "What's New on This
Site?" It lists additions chronologically during the 2001 calendar year.
Hopefully, this will save researchers time in finding additional data,
changes, and new links I make during this year.
Previously, you would have to search out changes on the various links.
Also, I've just opened a new gateway to Appalachian Ancestors, but only the
index page is ready.
