Regarding the Brown family. Would you know if the James Brown, husband to
Sarah Anderson, had a sister named Mary E. Brown? Mary was born about 1827
in Virginia. By Septmeber 10, 1854 she became the second wife of Isaac J.
Laymance, b. 1826. Mary Brown and Isaac Laymance had 9 children. Thanks for

vii. CATHERINE LAYMANCE, b. 1865; m. JOHN SNOW?
viii. SARAH EVELINE LAYMANCE, b. 1868; d. 1938; m. DAVID
BLAKE.
ix. ELLEN M. LAYMANCE, b. 1870.
x. BENJAMIN F. LAYMANCE, b. 1873.
xi. JACOB ANDREW LAYMANCE, b. October 12, 1875; d. May
05, 1959, Liberty Cemetery. He married Laura Byrd.

The children are number 3 - 11 because Isaac had two children by his first
wife Katherine. They were Margaret born November 4, 1848 and John born about
1851.
