FOUST, HUGHVON WILLIAM - age 77, of LaFollette,
HENNING, JOHN WESLEY - age 64, of LaFollette.
SOUTHER, MRS. AMANDA LAWSON - age 26, of Oakdale
FOUST, HUGHVON WILLIAM - age 77, of 220 Walden Lane, LaFollette, passed away
Monday, June 3, 2002, at the St. Mary's Medical Center of Campbell County. He
was a member of the Fincastle United Methodist Church. He enjoyed fishing,
gardening, and loved his family very much. He was a World War II Veteran,
having served three years in Alaska. He was preceded in death by parents,
Harvey and Lila Allen Foust; one brother, Gillis Foust, and two sisters,
Willene Blanton and Addie Richardson. Mr. Foust is survived by wife, Helen
Foust of LaFollette; daughters and sons-in-law, Delores and Roger Beaty of
Speedwell and Shelia Lynn and Mark Smith of Dayton, Ohio; two grandsons, Eric
Anthony Beaty and Tony Edwin Beaty; two granddaughters, Michelle Dano and
Holly Lynn Smith, all of Dayton, Ohio; three great- grandchildren, Donavan,
Daniel and Nicole, and one great- great grandchild, Hailey Morgan; seven
nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services
will be 11 a.m. Friday in the Chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home with Rev.
David Lord officiating. Interment will follow in Ponds Cemetery. The family
will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday night at Martin Wilson Funeral
Home. Martin Wilson Funeral Home, of LaFollette, is in charge of the
arrangements.
HENNING, JOHN WESLEY - age 64, of 307 Easter Lane, LaFollette, passed away
Tuesday, June 4, 2002, at the Ft. Sanders Regional Medical Center in
Knoxville. He was of the Baptist faith. He enjoyed tinkering on cars, loved
to garden and work. He was employed for Johnson and Galyon Construction
Company for 15 years. He loved his family very much. He was preceded in death
by son, James (Jimbo) Henning; parents, Dotson and Elsie McGhee Henning;
brother, Billy Henning; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Elmer and Edith
Brantley. He is survived by wife, Faye Henning; son, Gene Henning, both of
LaFollette; sister and brother-in-law, Patricia and Jessie Yates of
Batesville, Mississippi, and lots of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Thursday in the Chapel of Martin Wilson
Funeral Home with Rev. Sonny Longmire and Rev. Kenny Cox officiating.
Interment will follow in Baker's Forge Cemetery. The family will receive
friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday night a Martin Wilson Funeral Home. Martin
Wilson Funeral Home, of LaFollette, is in charge of arrangements.
SOUTHER, MRS. AMANDA LAWSON - age 26, of Oakdale, died Tuesday, June 4, 2002,
at Roane Medical Center. A 1994 graduate of Harriman High School, she was
employed at the Michael Dunn Center, and was a member of Pine Orchard Baptist
Church. She is survived by her husband, Adam Souther of Oakdale; father and
step mother, Larry and Karen Lawson of Oak Ridge; mother, Donna Davidson of
Marietta, Ga.; two sisters, Maggie Bunch and Raven Lawson, both of Oliver
Springs, and several aunts, uncles, relatives and friends. The family will
receive friends Thursday evening, June 6, 2002, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at
Davis Funeral Home in Harriman. Funeral service will follow at 8:00 p.m. with
Rev. Wayne Nelson officiating. Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday
morning in the Pine Orchard Cemetery in Oakdale. Davis Funeral Home,
Harriman, in charge of arrangements.
