JONES, MRS. ROBBIE - of LaFollette,
STINNETT, GERDLEN RISEDEN FRY - age 79 of Clinton,
TAYLOR, PATSY - age 62, of Clinton,
WEAVER, MICHELLE KING - age 30, of Solway,
WILSON, MR. KENNETH (FLIP) - age 77, of Andersonville,
JONES, MRS. ROBBIE - of LaFollette, passed away Thursday, June 27, 2002, at
Methodist Medical Center of Oak Ridge. Preceded in death by husband, Burl
Jones; parents, William and Sarah Hurt; brothers, Harold and Bill Hurt.
Survivors: daughters, Donna Sheldon and Melissa Bowlin; sister, Virginia
Stonecipher; granddaughters, Elisha Sheldon Nelson, Natasha Sheldon and Keila
Sheldon; grandson, Joshua Bowlin; sons-in-law, Ricky Bowlin and Dean Sheldon,
all of LaFollette. Funeral services Sunday 2 p.m. at Walters Chapel with Rev.
Chris Nelson officiating. Interment in Campbell Memorial Gardens. The family
will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at Walters Funeral Home,
LaFollette.
STINNETT, GERDLEN RISEDEN FRY - age 79 of Clinton, went to be with the Lord
on Friday, June 28, 2002 from the Windwood Health and Rehab Center. She was
preceded in death by: husband, Woodard W. Fry; and son, Steven R. Colvin;
parents, Dave and Ida Riseden; brothers, Elmer and Eugene Riseden; sisters,
Maxine Baird, Opal Smith and Thelma Rauhuff. Survived by: brother, Earl
Riseden; sisters, Ruby Posey, Glines Ward and Margie Rauhuff; brother-in-law,
Fred Rauhuff; and sister-in-law, Theda Riseden; also survived by numerous
nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Sunday evening June 30,
2002 between the hours of 6 and 8 p.m. with funeral services beginning at
8:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Woodhaven Funeral Home with Rev. Jim Hulse
officiating. Family and friends will assemble at 9:45 a.m. Monday morning for
a 10:00 a.m. committal service at Woodhaven Memorial Gardens. Woodhaven
Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens, 160 Edgemoor Rd., Powell in charge of
arrangements, 945-3461.
TAYLOR, PATSY - age 62, of Clinton, passed away Thursday, June 27, 2002, at
U. T. Medical Center in Knoxville. She was a member of Oak Ridge Christian
Outreach Church. She was a loving wife and mother. Preceded in death by son,
Terry McGhee; parents, Ed and Pauline Webber Sharp; sister, Faye Bond, and
brother, Sandy Sharp. Patsy was born October 30, 1939, in Anderson County.
Survivors: husband, Verlin Taylor, Jr. of Clinton; daughters, Kathy McGhee of
Oak Ridge, and Karen Irby of Clinton
Clinton; sons, Darrell McGhee and wife, Betty of Heiskell; step-daughters,
Charlette and Jeff Haynes of Ringgold, Ga., and Vanessa and Harold Carroll of
Ringgold, Ga.; step sons, Verlin and Christy Taylor of Ringgold, Ga., and Roy
and Dana Taylor of Ringgold, Ga.;
23 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; sister, Jean Wiser of Dallas,
Texas; sisters-in-law,
Alene Turner of Oliver Springs; Nadine Mack of Coalfield, and Dorothy Taylor
of Fairborn, Ohio. Special sister-in-law, Linda; brother-in-law, Ralph
Hensley of Oliver Springs, and several nieces and nephews. The family will
receive friends 6:00- 8:00 p.m., Sunday, June 30, 2002, at Holley-Gamble
Funeral Home in Clinton. Funeral service will be held 10:30 a.m., Monday in
the chapel with Rev. Archie Corder and Rev. Luke Kidwell officiating.
Interment will follow the service at Childs Cemetery. Holley-Gamble Funeral
Home, of Clinton, in charge of all arrangements.
WEAVER, MICHELLE KING - age 30, of Solway, passed away Thursday, June 27,
2002, at Vanderbilt Hospital. Member of Community Baptist Church in Oliver
Springs. Survived by children, Christian, Alexander, and Mia Weaver; mother
and step father, Darcella and Ronnie Crawford; father and step mother,
Michael and Patricia King; brothers, Joseph, Michael and Brian Webber. The
family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Sunday at Weaver's Chapel with the
service to follow at 8 p.m., Reverends Robert Combs and Bobby Henry
officiating. Family and friends will meet at 10:45 a.m. Monday at Solway
Memorial Cemetery for an 11 a.m. graveside service. Brothers and cousins will
serve as pallbearers. Arrangements by Weaver Funeral Home, 5815 Western Ave.,
588-3868.
WILSON, MR. KENNETH (FLIP) - age 77, of Andersonville, passed away Friday
morning, June 28, 2002, at Mariner Health Care of Norris. Funeral
arrangements are incomplete and will be announced later by Ailor Mortuary.
