I have a four generation list of descendants from one man that numbers
close to two hundred. My Ultimate Family Tree instruction book has the
Henry Numbering System which uses 1, 11, 12, 13, 111, 112 etc. and the
D'Abbeville Numbering system which uses 1, 1.1, 1.2, 1.3, 1.1.1, 1.1.2
etc. Children are numbered, male or female.

What about the wives of the principals and wives or husbands of the
children. How are they shown? do they get a number?

Is this correct?;

1. John Jakes.
M. Jenny Smith.
1.1. Peter.
1.2. Polly.

1.1 Peter Jakes.
M. Mary Curry.
1.1.1. Harry.
1.1.2. John.
1.1.3. Margaret.

1.2. Polly Jakes.
M. Benny Ingram.
1.2.1. Joseph Ingram.
1.2.2. Lizzie Ingram.

etc.

How is the best way? I need help.
