Lorene Anna Goodman, 68, of Obion died March 9, 2005, at her home after an extended illness.
Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Cryer Funeral Home in Obion, with the Rev. Jerry Leggett officiating. Burial will follow in Obion's Rose Hill Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home 6-9 this evening.
Pallbearers will be Ronnie White, Kyle Parker, Mikel Dial, Sam Helliwig, Steven Edgin and Ronnie Goodman.
She was born July 5, 1936, in Hornbeak, daughter of the late Harmon and Henrietta (Work) Roberson. She was a member of Obion First Baptist Church and had been employed at the former Salant & Salant in Obion.
Survivors include her husband, Wilburn Austin Goodman; her son, Danny Allen Butler of South Fulton; her daughter, Alita Jenay Parker of Union City; her stepson, Tony Jones of Conway, Ark.; three stepdaughters, Pamela Dial of Murray, Ky., Kathleen Helliwig of Clarksville and Melissa White of Hickman, Ky.; her brother, Harmon Roberson Jr. of South Fulton; three sisters, Bobby Frances Todd of Church Hill, Emma Rachel Juras of Union City and Linda Jean Armstrong of Jacksonville, Fla.; two grandchildren, Steven Lyle Herane and Daniel Allen Butler; nine step-grandchildren; and two step-great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by her former husband, J.D. Butler; her brother, Allen Marshall Roberson; her sister, Elizabeth Faye Tanner; and her granddaughter, Deborah Nichole Butler.
