BAILEY, MARY ANN - age 65, of Knoxville, died Thursday, September 21, 2006.
A native of Hawkins County, Mrs. Bailey was preceded in death by her
parents, Oll and Millie Breeden; sister, Gracie Breeden; and brothers,
Donald and Gary Breeden. She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Andrew
Bailey, Jr.; sons, Dennis, Robert, and John Bailey; special granddaughter,
Misty Bailey and six other grandchildren; two brothers, William Breeden of
New York and James Breeden of Knoxville; and two sisters, Margaret Foster of
Knoxville and Geneva Thorpe of Sevierville. Family and friends will meet
Monday at the main entrance to Greenwood Cemetery for a 1:00 P.M. graveside

School of Nursing in 1973; a former nurse with Parkwest Medical Center,
Baptist Hospital of Roane County and a former nurse and nursing supervisor
with Chamberlain Memorial Hospital and Rockwood Health Care Center. She was

LUEKING, WANDA GLASS - age 86 formerly of Harriman went home to be with the
Lord Thursday September 21, 2006 at Shannondale Health Care in Knoxville,
Tn. She was a member of West Hills Presbyterian Church and First
Presbyterian Church, and was involved in church and community activities.
She was a teacher's aide at Bowers Elementary School, and a very good
homemaker, wife, mother and grandmother. Preceded in death was her husband,

was a member of Beech Springs Baptist Church and a member of French Broad
Masonic Lodge # 588 F& AM. He is preceded in death by his parents, Earl C.
and Nina L. Huffaker Russell. Dwight is survived by his family, Debbie

SHARP, ALVIN L. - 87, went to be with the Lord on Friday, September 22, 2006
as he slept at his home in the Paint Rock Community. Born October 12, 1918
in Philadelphia, TN, he was a life long resident of the Paint Rock
Community, south of the river in Roane County. He served as a Navy submarine
crew member during World War II and while serving he met and married Ms.
Gertrude Short Sharp in 1943. Following his military service, he was
employed at Oak Ridge's K-25 facility for more than 35 years until his
retirement. "Al" as known by family and friends, was a Christian man with
great love and compassion for others. He was preceded in death by his
parents, his father, Gilbert L. Sharp, mother, Ms. Hattie Sharp Cunningham,
sister, Betty Cunningham and son, Alan "Lannie" Sharp. He is survived by his
wife of 63 years, Gertrude Sharp; sons and daughters in law, Bobby and Kathy
Sharp of Harriman, Gary and Janan Sharp of Madisonville; daughter and son in
law, Sherry and Bruce Gage of Huntsville, Ala.; and eight grandchildren.
Funeral services 4 p.m. Sunday Pleasant Hill Methodist Church, Rev. Gerrod

SILCOX, RHODA LEE - age 84, of Clinton, Tennessee finished the final page
of an epic love story on Thursday, September 21 at the Oak Ridge Methodist
Medical Center at approximately 5:30 in the afternoon. She was surrounded by
her family members and loved ones when she drew her last breath on this
earth. She died from complications of a broken heart. She was born in
Cookeville, Tennessee, but has resided and raised a large immediate and
extended family in Clinton for the last half-century. She was preceded in
death by beloved husband of 61 years, Virgil Silcox, Sr., himself passed
away one month ago to the day; infant daughter, Rosemary; son, Bedford;
father, Bruce Herron & mother, Bealer Stover Herron. Survivors: children:

TRIMBLE, EVELYN MARGARET HUDSON - passed away on Wednesday September 20,
2006 at home with her family and the support of the Treasure Coast Hospices.
She was 80 years of age and a resident of Jesen Beach for the past 32 years.
She was a member of St. Mary's Episcopal Church in Stuart, Fla. She was a
Daughter of the King, member of the Altar Guild and very active within the
church. She leaves behind her loving husband of 63 years, William F. (Bill)
Trimble. She also leaves behind two daughters, Dianne T. Cowden and husband,
Al, Satsuma, Fla. and Selinda Gail Woody, Knoxville. She is also survived by
her grandchildren, Dionne Lane Colletti and husband, Brian, Jensen Beach,
Fla., Dee Dee Garner, Tammy Bearden and husband, Ron, Stephanie Seigler and
husband, Chip and Bill Woody all of Knoxville. She was also blessed with
nine great grandchildren, Jessica Jordan, Tori and Meg Bearden, Zachary
Ross, Savanna and Aiden Colletti, Hudson and Brannon Seigler and Andrew
Woody. A memorial service will be held at St. Mary's Episcopal Church, East
Ocean Blvd. on Tuesday September 26 at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, please
make donations to St. Mary's Episcopal Church General Fund in her honor.

WALDEN, M. FRANK - age 77 of Lenoir City, passed away Friday, September 22,
2006 at his home. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army serving in the Korean
War and a member of American Legion Post 70. Frank was a member of First
Baptist Church, Avery Masonic Lodge #593 F & AM, Knoxville Scottish Rite and
Kerbela Temple. He was a former employee of Pepsi Cola of Knoxville, owner
of Waldens Cafeteria, Waldens Billiard and Game Room and Melton Hill Market
and Deli. Preceded in death by son, M. Frank Walden, Jr.; parents, Albert
and Mattie DeVane Walden; brothers, William and Ernest Walden and sister,
Catherine Earl. Survived by his wife of 57 years, Iris Fox Walden; children,
Larry and wife, Carol, Albert, Charles, Belinda and husband, Steve;
grandchildren, Morgan, Chelsea and David; sister, Sarah Burton of Anthony,
FL; sisters-in-law, Barbara Elkins and husband, Harold, Rebecca DeVaney and
Dwana Vance; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends
from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday at Click Funeral Home, Lenoir City. Funeral
services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday in the Click Funeral Home Chapel
with Rev. Dick DeMerchant and Jeff Walker officiating. Burial will follow in
the Lakeview Cemetery with military honors conferred by VFW Post 5150 and
American Legion Post 120, 70 and 256. Serving as pallbearers: Richard
Elkins, Tracy Elkins, Warren Melton, Bill Rogers, Tom McCarroll and John
