My great great grandmother was Mary Belle Upchurch who married Dock Abbott and lived on Bald Rock off of Travisville Road. Belle (as she was more commonly known) was born about 1874 in Kentucky (probably Wayne County). She was daughter of Archibald "Arch" Upchurch and Malinda J. Byers. Her siblings included Clarinda J. Upchurch who married James "Jim" McGinnis, Lucinda Wayne Upchurch, Thomas Upchurch, Milas Richard Upchurch, Daniel V. Upchurch, Floyd Upchurch, and Nancy Ann "Nannie" Upchurch who married William Lewis Morgan. If anyone knows anything about this family I would appreciate it if you notified me. I want to know if Arch and Malinda moved to Tennessee, and if that's the reason Belle met Dock (who lived in Pickett Co. after his family moved from Wayne Co.) and married him. Also do you know when Arch and Malinda were born, died, married and who were Malinda Byer's parents and siblings? Thanks
