Hi Rhea County Cousins:
I am finding more and more of you each day.
My father Wilson Eugene Miller was born in Rhea County Tennessee in
1921, as was his father and his father's father. They call my father
"BOY" . I was born in Georgia and raised around Riverdale and
Fayetteville. I live in Hampton now, one mile from the Atlanta
International Raceway. Although I live in Georgia - My roots run
deep in Rhea County as you will see>> Robert (Robbin) Miller came
to the area in abt 1797 as a survey assistant .
He settled in the area. He worked for a while in Georgia where one of
his son's was born.
Miller's, Joll(e)y's, Sharp's, Clark's, Deatherage, are my line
from the Rhea\Roane area.
Also any one that's interested ...my mother's people are from McMinn,
Monroe, Fentress and Morgan County. I will not list them here just the
surnames for reference in case any one else has any of the names in my
line. They are Ro(d)gers, Davis (McMinn) Wright, Scroggins, Guinn,
Mullinix, Fentress and Morgan Co. My list has grown so much with a
special thanks to NANCY COLE, Edna Clack, Seth Tallent and Sandy
Eskew, and Bonnie "Fava"
