I am new on the list and have just recently learned my ancestor had land in
Rhea co.
I am looking for all Thornton's in Rhea Co., Tn. Especially John Thornton
b. ca 1765; died possibly ca. 1849. His wife was Nancy (but may have had a
2nd marriage?); John and Nancy had 10 children born between bet late 1700's
and early 1800's.
