The 1900 census has Charles F. Steinwehr, age 37, single, living with his
parents Oscar and Wilhelmine, occupation photographer. Also in the household
was his 35 year old single sister who was a milliner and a 23-year-old
single female boarder who was also a milliner. They lived on Forsyth Street
in Rockwood.
I'll bet "tinner" does have something to do with tintypes. Very
interesting...
