I have found the Rutherford list to be one of the most progressive I have
been on we have formed a society and investigated in saving grave
sites...........I do agree everyone has an opinion but I think these list
operate better in a relax environment its not possible to make everyone
happy and if there is a subject of no interest that is what a delete button
is for......also we have helpers who look things up and act as a support
group......
As for eating habits I do agree they can have a very big impact on doing
your genealogical research-----I came from a family where the men learned to
smoke their pork sausage and ate a lot of it. Two women in my family who
were no blood related my grandmother and my great-grandmother developed
stomach cancer.....Learning this I concluded that life style and lack of
refrigeration had an effect on these women...Life styles, customs and eating
habits religion etc are very important in research.
Pardon if I was no my soap box I did not mean too. I just enjoy the people
on this list.
Betty
