My dear countess,

The lay of the land according to Maxine is that Windrow was a postoffice from
1901 to 1907 at which time the postal functions were moved to Overall (which
was then moved to M'boro in 1953).

So, I guess that Windrow as community could have still existed in 1909 when
this dude J.M.Watson bit the dust. The county was definitely Rutherford.
Was Winslow perhaps in Rutherford co? as that would make another possibility.


Do you by any chance have access to the cemetery books? I am curious as to
the birth date of this gentleman. His date of death was 11 February 1909.
The Febry as written first looked like July, but I think it really was Feb.
I thought if I could find a cemetery location it might have dates or I could
then work on getting same if I knew where he was.
