Hi Everybody, I`m trying to find info on my husband`s ggrandfather. James Lawrence Elliott m.Sarah Ann Morgan Jan.20, 1850 d. April 25, 1925. I was told James was a Circuit Rider.I have the marriage record book for Rutherford Co. 1851-1872 and it give`s their date of marriage as,July 10, 1868.Their children, James Jr nd, Lizzie nd, Monroe nd, Sara nd, Dorthol Mar. 11, 1873, Joe M. Dec. 24, 1874, Joe was my husband`s grandfather, Else Aug. 15, 1881, K.P. Jan. 01,1886. I was told they were buried at the cemetery beside Bethel Church but no head stones.
Any info on Mr. Elliott and his parents would be greatly appreciated.
