Debra,

I don't know if these are connected to your Neely clan but thought I
would send it on anyway:

This is from the book: Historic Nolensville Cemetery by T. Vance Little:

"The Neely Family

Isaac L. Neely was born in Williamson County in 1821, the son of John C.
and Elizabeth Neely, who were born in Virginia and North Carolina,
respectively. He was the grandson of Isaac and Fannie Neely. The
father John Neely came to Tennessee about 1800. He was in the War of
1812 and died in 1867. The mother died in 1872. Isaac L. Neely was the
third of their eleven children. In 1878, he purchased 131 arces of land
near Nolensville. In 1841, he married Sarah E. C. Burke, who was born
in 1818 in North Carolina, the daughter of John and Lucy Burke. She
died in 1861, leaving one son Miles Burke. Isaac L. Neely then married
his late wife's first cousin Elizabeth Burke Pyner, the daughter of
Samuel and Peggy Burke. In 1899, Isaac L. Neely sold to J. W. Williams
the land that became Nolensville Cemetery. Both he and his wife are
buried there.

Isaac L. Neely, born February 5, 1821, died October 8, 1899
Eliza Neely, born October 23, 1828, died July 7, 1899"

Hope this helps.

Noel
