I am researching the Cromwell family of Morgan County. I am looking for
the mother of Parthena Webb Cromwell, married to James Monroe Cromwell.
Parthena's father was Robert Webb who died in the Civil War at
Andersonville. Her grandparents were Lewis and Ruby McCartt Webb of the
Gobey-Elizabeth area. Have only been able to find Parthena's mother's
last name, Daughtery, Doherty, as stated on her death certificate.
Would appreciate hearing from anyone who might have a clue as to who
this lady might have been. According to pension records, Parthena's
mother had other children. Who are they? Where are they? ANYONE, with
the slightest clue would be appreciated!!!! Julie
