HAMBY, GLEN EDWARD - age 35, of the New Midway Community, Kingston, passed
away suddenly Friday morning, December 25, 1998, at his home. Glen was a
member of the New Midway Baptist Church. Preceded in death by sister, Joy Kay
Hamby. Survivors: wife, Cathy Eblen Hamby; daughters, Crystal and Jessica
Hamby; son, Lucas Hamby; mother and stepfather, Margie and Earnest Smith of
Midtown; father and stepmother, Jim and Ethel Hamby of Midtown; sisters, Tammy
Hamby of Midtown, Kathy Youngblood of Rockwood; brother, Tracy Hamby of
Kingston; grandmother, Magnolia Adkisson of Midtown. The body will lie in
state from 10-11 a.m. Monday at New Midway Baptist Church with funeral service
to follow at 11 a.m., Rev. Eddie Click, Rev. Herbert Vandergriff and Elder
Danny McKee officiating. Interment will follow in the Zwicker-Eblen Cemetery.
Pallbearers: Tracy Hamby, Steven Robinette, Craig Nix, Michael Lee Marney, Tim
Yarosh, Hal Lambert, Will Williams, and Mickey Pressley. The family will
receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Sunday at Click Funeral Home in Lenoir City.
