GOOSIE, PAUL (ZIP), SR. - age 67, formerly of Knoxville, passed away at 11:42
a.m. Sunday, at his home in Norris. He made a profession of his faith in
Christ during his early adult years. He retired from Thermolater Window Co. in
1994. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Ann. Survivors: wife, Dot;
son and daughter-in-law, Frank and Susan Goosie of California, Missouri; sons,
Steve Goosie, Powell and Eddie Goosie of Clinton; sons and daughters-in-law,
Kenny and Lisa Webber of Heiskell, Steve and Barbie Webber of Halls; daughter
and son-in-law, Kathy (Maw) and Chuck Stinnett of Halls; grandchildren, Chris,
Ashley, Joel, Jacob, Sharita Goosie, Stephani Stinnett, Kevin Webber, Alecia
and Katie Parrott, Taryn Raby, Bobby Tuggle, and Zack Fox; sister, Dot Steele
of Clinton; and special friends, Virgil Wyrick and Mike Woody. Service 8 p.m.
Tuesday, Mynatt's Chapel, Rev. Frank Goosie officiating. Family and friends
will meet 10:15 a.m. Wednesday at Mynatt Funeral Home and proceed to Ridgeview
Heights Baptist Church for interment at 11 a.m. The family will receive
friends 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Mynatt's.
HICKS, MRS. MATTIE - age 90, of Harriman, died Wednesday, March 3, 1999, in
her home. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. at Davis Funeral Home,
Harriman. Funeral service will follow at 8 p.m. in the chapel. Interment will
be 11 a.m. Saturday in Childs Memorial Church Cemetery. Davis Funeral Home of
Harriman in charge of arrangements.
KLINE, ROY HERBERT - 91, of Kingston, passed away Sunday, March 7, 1999, at
Roane Medical Center, Harriman. Funeral 7 p.m. Wednesday in Kyker Chapel with
Elder Rue Eskridge and Rev. James Sims officiating. Burial 11 a.m. Thursday at
Braxton Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6-7 p.m. Wednesday at
Kyker Funeral Home in Kingston.
