PHILLIPS, JAMES THOMAS - age 65, of Harriman, passed away Monday, June 14,
1999, at Ft. Sanders Parkwest Medical Center in Knoxville. Member of Cedar
Grove Baptist Church, Army Veteran of WWII. Preceded in death by his parents,
William and Pauline Phillips; and a brother, Charles "Cotton" Phillips.
Survivors include wife, Juanita Phillips of Harriman; daughter, Trish Price
of Harriman; daughter and son-in-law, Tammie and Kyle Bailey of Cookeville;
grandchildren, Casey and James Price, T.K. and Keaton Bailey; sisters, Bobbie
Gillis of Harriman, Dorboro Lee of Baltimore, Md., Thelma Miller of Kingston,
Cheryl Arnold and Darlene Jones, both of Harriman; several nieces and
nephews. Funeral 2 p.m. Wednesday at Cedar Grove Baptist Church with Rev.
Mike Henegar, Rev. Jim Phillips, and Dr. Dwight Kramer officiating. Burial at
Roane Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. on
Tuesday at Kyker Funeral Home in Kingston.
