Hi Maureen,

Black Creek is a small community in the Southern part of Scott Co. TN. There is a road that is called Black Creek Rd. It starts at Highway 27 in Robbins. The Black Creek Rd. is about 5 miles long and anyone living on this dirt road is considered in the Black Creek community. There is a cemetery on this road called by older people, the Kilbeck, Killbeck, and Killenbeck Cemetery ( I have seen it spelled all three ways). Today, many people refer to it as the Black Creek Cemetery, not to be confused with the Blackcreek-Crossroads Cemetery a few miles away. My Willoughby and Zachary ancestors were from this community. Don't know if this will help anyone, but thought I would share.
