POTTER, MRS. ALDEA - of Wartburg, passed away Dec. 29, 1999 in the Methodist
Medical Center after a long illness. She was a member of the Star of Hope
Chapel Church in Wartburg and a member of the Morgan County Rescue Squad. She
spent many years singing the gospel of our Heavenly Father with the Star of
Hope Chapel Singers. She was preceded in death by her father and mother,
Hayden and Ethel Bowlin from Lancing; brother, Gene of Albany, Ore.; son,
Gregory Paul Potter. She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Paul J.
Potter; daughter, Karen Bush of Wartburg; son & daughter-in-law, Lendal &
Telessa Potter of Wartburg; granddaughter, Nikki Meade of Kingston, Lynetta
Potter & Jennifer Bush of Wartburg; grandsons, Jonathan Bush and Gregory
Potter of Wartburg; special great granddaughter, Bailey Meade of Kingston;
sisters, Treva Melton of Lancing, Norma Pearcy of Muncie, Ind., Jolene Aytes
of Lancing, Joyce Bingham of Wartburg & Billie Osborne of Wartburg. She is
also survived by several nieces and nephews & a very special friend, Minnie
Ann Armes of Wartburg. The family will receive friends Thur., Dec.l 30, 1999
6-8:30 p.m. at Schubert Funeral Home, Wartburg. Funeral services will follow
with Rev. Ralph Hamby and Rev. Rick Taylor officiating. Graveside services
will be held on Fri., Dec. 31, 1999 at 11 a.m. at Potter's Chapel Cemetery,
Lancing.
