MILES, MRS. AVALEE STONE - age 87, formerly of the Pine Orchard Community,
passed away Saturday morning, April 28, 2001 in the Royal Care Nursing Home,
Harriman. She was a member of the Pine Orchard Baptist Church. She was
preceded in death by her parents, Ray and Vivie Farmer Stone; sisters, Wilma
Weatherford and Lela Stone. She is survived by her sons, Cecil & wife, (Ruth)
Stone of Pine Orchard and Charles Miles and fiancé, Sue Hutson of Oliver
Springs; 3 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren; sisters, Estelle Overton
of Harriman, Eula Brummett of Birmingham, Ala. and Maxine Chapeman of
Oakdale; brothers, Walter and Clyde Stone, both of Harriman; a host of nieces
and nephews. The family will receive friends Sunday evening, April 29, 2001
from 6-8 p.m. Schubert Funeral Home, Wartburg. A graveside service will be
held on Monday 11 a.m. in the Crab Orchard Cemetery with Rev. Mitch Walker
officiating. Schubert Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
