HUMPHREY, EVERETTE R. - age 78, of Andersonville,
IRWIN, EURETHA ROSE - age 95, of Clarksville, formerly of Andersonville,
MOORE, ORVILLE - age 58, of the Claxton Community,
SEEBER, EARL - age 81, a resident of Oliver Springs, Tenn.

HUMPHREY, EVERETTE R. - age 78, of Andersonville, passed away at noon on
Tuesday, September 17, 2002, at the Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge. He
was born February 12, 1924, in Anderson County. He was a member of Mt.
Pleasant United Methodist Church in Andersonville. He had worked for many
years as an Electrical Groundman for TVA. He was also a United States Navy
Veteran, who proudly served during World War II. Preceded in death by
parents, Paris and Sarah Humphrey; son, Michael R. Humphrey; sister, Cora
Miller, and brothers, Willie and Cecil Humphrey. Survivors: wife of 54 years,
Jean Tindell Humphrey of Andersonville; son, Joseph T. Humphrey of
Andersonville; daughters, Kathy Langston and husband, David of Knoxville,
Vicki Bailey and husband, Jimmy of Oliver Springs, Terri Humphrey of
Andersonville, and Rosemary Cox and husband, Rudy of Clinton; brothers, James
Humphrey of Andersonville, and Frank Humphrey and wife, Mildred of
Andersonville; sister, Marie Miller and husband, James of Halls; grandsons,
Scott, Jason and Eric Langston, all of Knoxville, and Rev. Boyd L. Bailey and
wife, Paula of Rocky Mount, N.C.; granddaughters, Shannon Hines and husband,
Mike of Asheville, N.C., Amy Jones and husband, Brian of Knoxville, and Becky
Shelton and husband, Todd of Greeneville. He was also blessed with seven
great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. The family will receive
friends 7:00-9:00 p.m., Thursday, September 19, 2002, at Holley Gamble
Funeral Home, in Clinton. Funeral service will be held 3:00 p.m., Friday at
Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church in Andersonville with Rev. Don Jones and
Rev. Boyd Bailey officiating. The body will lie in state one hour prior to
the service at the church. Interment will follow the service at Mt. Pleasant
Cemetery. Holley Gamble Funeral Home, of Clinton, in charge of all
arrangements.
IRWIN, EURETHA ROSE - age 95, of Clarksville, formerly of Andersonville,
passed away Sunday, September 15, 2002, at the Cumberland Elder Care Center.
She was a member of Andersonville United Methodist Church. She was also a
member of the Andersonville Chapter of the Eastern Star. She retired as a
Medical Librarian from Baptist Hospital in Knoxville. Preceded in death by
husband, Bruce Irwin; parents, Frank and Rose Sharp Thomas and several other
family members. Mrs. Irwin was born February 8, 1907, in LaFollette.
Survivors: son, Jack Irwin and wife, Ann of Clarksville; daughter, Pat
Moriarty of Baltimore, Maryland; six grandchildren and nine
great-grandchildren, and sister- in-law, Grace Margraves of Maryville. The
family will receive friends from 11:30-1:00 p.m. , Friday, September 20,
2002, at Holley Gamble Funeral Home, in Clinton, with funeral service
following at 1:00 p.m., in the chapel with Rev. Don Jones officiating.
Interment will follow the service at Andersonville Cemetery. Holley Gamble
Funeral Home, of Clinton, in charge of all arrangements.
MOORE, ORVILLE - age 58, of the Claxton Community, passed away Wednesday,
September 18, 2002, at the Ft. Sanders Regional Hospital in Knoxville. The
family will receive friends 6-8 p.m., Friday, September 20, 2002, at Holley
Gamble Funeral Home, in Clinton, Funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m.,
Saturday at Riverview Baptist Church in Claxton with Rev. Don Hensley
officiating. Interment will follow the service at Riverview Baptist Church
Cemetery. Holley Gamble Funeral Home, of Clinton, in charge of all
arrangements.
SEEBER, EARL - age 81, a resident of Oliver Springs, Tenn., passed away at
his home, Wednesday, September 18, 2002. Funeral arrangements are incomplete
at this time. Sharp Funeral Home, in charge of arrangements.
