Romines, Breona Lee De'Shea, infant, died April 3 at Fort Sanders Regional
Medical Center in Knoxville. She was preceded in death by her grandparents,
Lucy and Wayne Romines. Breona is survived by her parents, Eddie and Nesha
Byrge Romines, Caryville; grandparents, Connie and Roger Claiborne,
Caryville: great grandparents, Jessie Bowman, Joyce and Otis Swangin all of
Jacksboro, Jeaneete and Carthel Underwood, GA. Graveside services were April
6 in the Queener Cemetery with Reverend Darrell Edwards officiating. Martin

Thompson, Charles Winston, 82, Gray, TN died March 31 in Johnson City, TN.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. David C. Thompson; his
first wife, Doris Smith Thompson; sister, Mabel Brogans. He is survived by
his wife, Betty Martin Thompson, Gray, TN: sisters, Beulah Crabtree and
Dorothy Richardson, LaFollette. Memorial services were April 2 at the

Turner, Richard A., 62, LaFollette died March 31. He was preceded in death
by his father, Fredrick Turner. Mr. Turner is survived by his wife, Nancy ;
mother, Pauline Turner, Kettering; son, Richard Turner, Jr., Kettering;
sisters, Nancy Chessman, Beavercreek and Sally Davis, Kettering. Funeral
services were April 5 at Tobias Funeral Home. Interment was in Valley View

Widener, Evelyn L., 80, Lawton, OK died April 6. She was preceded in death
by her husband, David H. Widener; parents, Gaylor and Eliza (Smiddy) Ivey;
grandson, Billy David Holbert and brother, Jack Ivey. Mrs. Widener is
survived by her daughters, Patsy L. Mowery, OK, Peggy J. Moody, NC, Nancy E.
Holbert, Knoxville, Frannie S. RedElk, OK, Linda Vance, OK; sisters, Jean
Raines, Piney Flats, Lora Walker, Knoxville, Opal Ivey, Sue Davenport and
Nora Hyslope all of Jellico; 14 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren.
Funeral services were April 9 at the Lawton Ritter Gray Funeral Home Chapel
with Reverends Fred Whited and William Vance officiating. Interment was in
Post Cemetery, OK. Lawton Ritter Gray Funeral Home was in charge of

Ridenour, Brandon, age 30 of LaFollette, passed away Monday, April 1,2003 at
St. Mary's Medical Center of Campbell County. He was a member of Stinking
Creek Baptist Church. He loved to hunt and fish, was a concrete worker and
loved his family very much. Survivors: Parents, Mickell and Dean Ridenour,
Brother Tom Ridenour and wife, Janet. Grandmother, Mrs. Betty Ridenour.
Niece and Nephew, Amanda Thomas Ridenour. Special cousins, Jeremy Myers and
Donnie Johnson, all of LaFollette. Several aunts, uncles, cousins, other
relatives and friends. Funeral services Thursday 8 P.M. at Walters Chapel
with Rev. Donald Shown and Rev. Delmus Bruce officiating. Interment Friday
10 A.M. at Peabody Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8
P.M. Thursday before services at Walters Funeral Home. Walters Funeral Home,
LaFollette, is honored to be serving the family of Mr. Brandon Ridenour.

Johnson, Jessie Louise, 80, Jellico died April 4 at St. Mary's Medical
Center of Knoxville. She was preceded In death by her husband, Ben Johnson;
daughter, Mary Ella; son, Buffered Johnson. Mrs. Johnson is survived by her
sons, Jerry Johnson, IL and Andy Johnson, FL.; eight grandchildren and
several great grandchildren; brother, Cost Trammell, Knoxville: sister,
Cleat McGhee, LaFollette. Funeral services were March 8 at the New Canaan
Baptist Church with Reverend Asbury Byrd officiating. Interment was in Terry
Creek Cemetery. Harp Funeral Home was In charge of arrangements. (Source:

Murray, William Eugene, 71, LaFollette died April 2 at St. Mary's Medical
Center. He is survived by his brothers and sisters. Private services are

Perkins, Virgil Edward, 63, LaFollette died April 3 at Methodist Medical
Center. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Shirley Perkins;
parents, Arvil Andrew and Hazel Mae King Perkins. Mr. Perkins Is survived by
his wife, Kathy Perkins, LaFollette; children, Timmy Perkins, Jacksboro, Pam
Jackson. LaFollette, Jimmy Perkins, Jacksboro, Lisa Hendricks, PA, Tricia
Rastrelli, GA: step children, Anna Rogers and Travis Rogers both of
LaFollette, Quinton Rogers, Speedwell; 13 grandchildren: brothers, Arvil,
Larry, Jerry and JC: sisters, June, Jeaneace, Wilma, Dorthy, Anna Faye and
Norma. Funeral services were April 5 in the chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral
Home with reverend Eric Gibby officiating. Interment was In Odd Fellow
Cemetery. Martin Wilson Funeral home was in charge of arrangements. (Source:
