CHADWELL, ROBERT F. (BOB) - age 72 of LaFollette,
METHENEY, CHARLES "CHUCK" - age 83, of Lake City, Tennessee,
RICHARDSON, WALDO LAMPREY - age 89, of Kingston, and formerly of Oak Ridge,

CHADWELL, ROBERT F. (BOB) - age 72 of LaFollette, passed away suddenly
Monday, September 29, 2003 at St. Mary's of Campbell County. Preceded in death by
parents, Arthur L. & Ethel Goins Chadwell. He was a member of Midway Baptist
Church, LaFollette Masonic Lodge #623 F&AM, Kerbella Temple & Shriners, and the
Lyk-Nu Gang. He was affiliated with the Lost Squadron in restoring the WW II
P-38 "Glacier Girl". He served in the Army Air Corps. An avid woodworker and
fisherman, he also loved to restore antique cars. Survivors: wife, Molerine
Chadwell; sons, Arthur Claude (C.A.) Chadwell, Kissimee, Fla., Michael Chadwell,
LaFollette; daughter, Donna Dillman, Harrogate; grandchildren, Amanda Walden
Lawson, Suzanne Walden Rouse & Jonathan Chadwell. Funeral service 8 p.m.
Wednesday at Cross Chapel, Rev. Johnny Dabney officiating. Interment 11 a.m. Thursday,
October 2 at Campbell Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends 6-8
p.m. Wednesday at Cross Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Mike Freeman, Bill
Seiber, J.C. Brown, Lynn Goins, Mack Lay, and David McCulley. Earl Freeman will
be an honorary pallbearer. Arrangements by Cross Funeral Home.

METHENEY, CHARLES "CHUCK" - age 83, of Lake City, Tennessee, passed away
Tuesday, September 30, 2003, at Farragut Health Care Center in Knoxville. He was a
World War II Army Veteran. He was retired from Rock Creek Mining Company. He
was preceded in death by wife, Helen Metheney; parents, Thomas and Rebecca
Metheney; sister, Callie Metheney and two infant sisters; brothers, Homer,
Eister, and Delbert Metheney. Survivors: daughter, Susan Anderson and husband, Al of
Lake City, Tenn.; sons, Charles Metheney and wife, Mary of Clinton, Tenn.,
Steve Metheney and wife, Shirley of Claxton, Tenn.; grandchildren, Randy and
Sonya Metheney of Claxton, Tenn., Emilee and Scott Church of Trenton, Michigan,
David Metheney of Prescott, Arizona, Tommy Metheney of Clinton, Tenn.,
Stephanie and Brian Hall of Knoxville, Tenn., Andrea and Shawn Phillips of Claxton,
Tenn.; great-grandchildren, Andy and Ryan Hall of Knoxville, Tenn., Katelyn and
Elizabeth Church of Trenton, Mich., Silas Isham of Claxton; sister, Ora
Hoffman of Wilkesville, Ohio; brother, Donald Metheney of Vinton, Ohio, and several
nieces and nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends. The family
wishes to express their special thanks to Jamestown Unit at the Farragut
HealthCare Center in Knoxville. The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 2,
2003, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Holley-Gamble Funeral Home, in Lake City, with
funeral service to follow at 8:00 p.m. in the chapel with the Rev. Troy Keaton
and Rev. Sam Condon officiating. Interment will be Friday, October 3, 2003,
at 11:00 a.m. at Leach Cemetery in Lake City with Full Military Honors by the
Campbell County Honor Guard. Holley-Gamble Funeral Home, in Lake City, in
charge.

RICHARDSON, WALDO LAMPREY - age 89, of Kingston, and formerly of Oak Ridge,
died Sunday, September 28, 2003 at Roane Medical Center. Retired/ Union Carbide
/ K25/ Supt., Security & Plant Protection. Preceded in death by parents,
Shubert & Fern Lamprey Richardson, three sisters and his first wife, Priscilla
Richardson. Survived by: wife of 7 years, Helen Caldwell Richardson of Kingston;
adopted son, Michael Richardson and wife Pat of Oak Ridge; step-daughter,
Bonnie Parrott and husband Phil of Oak Ridge; 2 grandsons; step-grandson, Drew
Parrot and wife Aneka of Oak Ridge; step-granddaughter, Leslie Scicchitano and
husband Ric of McKinney, TX; and 2 step great grandchildren, Ricci and Rachael
Scicchitano. In keeping with Mr. Richardson's wishes, no services are planned.
The family asks that any memorials be in the form of contributions to the Oak
Ridge Boys Club, Girls Inc. or the Roane County Rescue Squad. Weatherford
