CAITHNESS, BETTE M. - age 60 of Flower, Scotland & Oak Ridge, TN.

CAITHNESS, BETTE M. - age 60 of Flower, Scotland & Oak Ridge, TN., passed
away Saturday, May 1, 2004 at Baptist Hospital West. Preceded in death by: her
parents, Thomas & Agnes Devlin. Survivors include: her husband of 37 years,
George M. Caithness, Jr.; son, George M. Caithness, III; son and daughter-in-law,
Craig Milby and Theresa Caithness; grandson, Cory Caithness. She touched the
lives of many special friends. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 pm
Sunday at Weaver Funeral Home with a eulogy given by Mr. Caithness at 8 pm.
Mrs. Caithness will be flown to Scotland for the interment to be held in Ayr,
Scotland at Ayr Cemetery at a later date. Arrangements by Weaver Funeral
Home, 5815 Western Ave. Knoxville, TN. 37921.
LONG, EDNA COOPER - age 90, of Clinton, passed away Friday, April 30, 2004 at
the University of Tennessee Medical Center. She was a member of Black Oak
Baptist Church. Born September 21, 1913 in Campbell County, Tennessee. She was
the daughter of the late John Wiley & Alice Webb Cooper. Preceded in death by:
husband, Raymond Yerkes Long; sister, Gertrude C. McGhee; brothers, Carl,
Clarence & Vernon Cooper & a 1/2 brother, Henry Beech. Survivors: son, Robert &
wife Katie Long of Clinton; grandsons, Robert Dale & wife Kim Long of Clinton,
Michael Kelly & wife Jackie Long of Knoxville; granddaughter, Theresa "Tracy"
Long Mulder of Knoxville; 2 great grandsons, Michael Ryan Long & Zachary Allen
Long; sister, Mabel Birchfield & husband Harley of Maryville; brother, Ulys
Cooper of Clinton; several nieces & nephews. The family will receive friends
6:00-8:00 pm, Monday, May 3, 2004 at Holley-Gamble Funeral Home with funeral
services following in the Chapel with Rev. Joe Bridges officiating. The interment
will be 10:30 am, Tuesday at Black Oak Baptist Church Cemetery. Holley-Gamble
Funeral Home in Clinton in charge of all arrangements
LONG, IMOGENE - age 85, of Clinton, passed away Friday, April 30, 2004 at her
residence. She was a member of Grace Baptist Church in Knox County in the
Karns Community. Preceded death by: husband, James Clifton Long; parents,
Everette & Myrtle Coffey Hill; brother, H.H. "County" Hill & his wife Lucille Peck
Hill. Survivors: sister, Peggy & husband Rev. Stanley Lively of Clinton; several
cousins. The family would like to thank Clinch River Home Health Care for
their loving care given to Imogene during her illness. The family will receive
friends 1:00- 3:00 pm, Sunday, May 2, 2004 at Holley-Gamble Funeral Home with
funeral services following in the Chapel, Dr. Ron Stuart officiating. The
interment will be 10:30 am, Monday at Anderson Memorial Garden. Holley-Gamble
Funeral Home in Clinton in charge of all arrangements.
