HATMAKER, MARJORIE CLARK age 80 of Clinton, formerly of Lake City,
WARDELL, MELVIN FRANCIS - age 91


HATMAKER, MARJORIE CLARK age 80 of Clinton, formerly of Lake City, TN passed
away Tuesday, August 31, 2004 at her residence. She was born October 7, 1923
in Kentucky to the late Clarence and Myrtle Akins Clark. She was of the Baptist
faith. Marjorie was well known for growing and showing Dahlias at many area
fairs. She was also well known for making and selling preserves at the Farmers
Market in Oak Ridge, TN. Marjorie is preceded in death by: her brother,
Clarence Clark, Jr. Survivors: husband of 63 years, John Hatmaker, Clinton, TN; son,
Michael Wayne Hatmaker, Clinton, TN; daughter & son-in-law, Jonny & Darhyl
Ramsey, Denton, TX. Visitation 6-8:00 pm Wednesday, September 1, 2004 at the
Hatmaker Funeral Home. Graveside service 1:00 pm Thursday, September 2, 2004 at
the Oak Grove Cemetery in Lake City, TN with Rev. Brian Courtney officiating.
Interment to follow the Graveside Service. Hatmaker Funeral Home of Lake City
in charge of arrangements.

WARDELL, MELVIN FRANCIS - age 91 died August 26, 2004 at the Estates of Oak
Ridge where he had lived for almost five years. He was born September 26, 1912
to Charles and Mae Elizabeth Brooks Wardell in Philadelphia, PA, but grew up
in Chester, PA. The body was cremated and internment will be in the family plot
in Lynnwood, PA. A memorial mass will be Saturday September 25, 2004 at 11:00
am St. Mary's Catholic Church in the Mary Chapel with Father Michael Woods
officiating. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the charity of the
donors' choice. Online register book may be signed at:
