Tim,
Many years ago in the late or early 1980's , I visited the library in
Oneida. I think the librarian
was a Miss Litton. I looked at a film of a Tn. newspaper. I think it was
a Huntsville newspaper
Printed between 1910 and 1917. Mix on the roll was a old print of a Oct.
1905 news paper
with the only picture in existence of my great grandfather when he was
killed on the street in
Oneida, with the printed story. I hope someday to get back there and
hopefully find it again.
Hoping they will let me make a copy. I would gladly pay for a copy of
the page or just the picture
and their time if the cost wasn't too much. The date on the paper was
Oct. 15,1905
His name was John Freeman Stephens.
The Library may still have the film I hope.
