I am helping a friend to get started on her genealogy. She knows who her grandfather was, but don't know her grandmother's name.
She knows her grandfather was James Willard Sexton and she knows he died in the late 1930's, she was born a long time after that and she just knows what she heard from other family members who are deceased, my friend is looking for the ancestors of James Williard Scott.
She was told her Sexton Family lived in Scott County, TN.
She would appreciate any information to get her started on her family research. She doesn't have a computer, but I can get the information to her , she lives just a few miles from me.
