BRUCE, EDWARD FRANKLIN - formerly Oak Ridge, TN
CROSS, MR. PAUL - age 68, Wartburg
BRUCE, EDWARD FRANKLIN - born November 27, 1956, passed away suddenly October
7, 2004 in Celebration, Florida, (formerly Oak Ridge, TN and Knoxville, TN).
He leaves to mourn his passing his beloved wife, Melissah Jena Bruce and two
very cute but very sad little dogs, Lulu & Blackie Bruce. He is also survived
by his parents, E.F. & Ruth Bruce of Knoxville, TN; his in-laws, Jimmy & Betty
Dopson of Lilburn, GA, and Joe & Christine Swann of Dandridge, TN; one
brother, Charles Bruce of Solway, TN; two sisters, Jan Phillips (Mickey) of Lake
City, TN, and Jill Bruce of Oak Ridge, TN; one sister- in-law, Jennifer Smith
(Barry) of Seymour, TN; one brother- in-law, Robbie Silver (Kaci) of Dandridge,
TN; 6 nieces and nephews, Christopher, Victoria, Caitlyn, Hannah, Kaylea, and
Parker, all of whom he treasured; as well as many other family members and
friends whose kindness and love meant the world to him. In lieu of flowers, his
wife asks that donations be made to either the East Tennessee Children's Hospital
or to the local SPCA. The family will receive friends 6-7:00 P.M. Saturday
followed by a celebration of his life at Rose Mortuary Mann Heritage Chapel.
CROSS, MR. PAUL - age 68, passed away Wednesday, October 20th, 2004 at his
home in Wartburg. He served in the United States Army in Korea, during the
Korean War. He worked as a machinist for several businesses in Knoxville and Oak
Ridge. Eventually he fulfilled a long held dream of opening his own business in
Wartburg. He has owned and operated C & C Tool and Die, Inc. for the last
twenty years. He was preceded in death by: his parents, John and Eva Cross and
several brothers and sisters. He is survived by: his wife, Jewel Redmon Cross;
children: Connie Beaubien, Freida Hyden, Sabbath and Nathaniel Cross;
grandchildren: Joseph, Ashlee, Preston, Aaron, Jonathon, and Madeline; brothers: John
Cross Jr. of Wartburg, Verlin Cross of Oakdale, and Othie Cross of Lafollette;
and sisters: Angela, Christina, and Serelda, all of Campbell County. The family
will receive friends Friday evening, October 22, 2004, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at
Schubert Funeral Home, in Wartburg. Funeral services will follow at 7:30 p.m.
with Rev. Jim Phillips and Rev. Paul Frick officiating. A graveside service
will be held Saturday morning at 11:00 a.m. in the Liberty Church Cemetery.
