ELLIS, BETTY LOU - age 80, of Clinton, passed away Friday, October 29, 2004
at Methodist Medical Center. She was of the Baptist faith. Preceded in death by
parents, James L. Yeary & Cleta Perkins Smith & brother, James L. Yeary of
South Carolina. Survivors: son, James Ellis & best friend Barbara Patterson of
Clinton; sister, Etta Chastain of Clinton; grandson, James Ray Ellis Jr. of
Clinton; granddaughter, Christen Keeney of Clinton. The family will receive
friends 1:00-2:00 PM, Sunday, October 31, 2004 at Holley-Gamble Funeral Home with
funeral services following in the chapel with Rev. Joe Bridges officiating.
Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton is in charge of all arrangements.

EVANS, RANDALL LOUIS "RANDY" - age 60, Memorial services for will be
conducted Saturday, October 30, 2004 at 1:00 PM from the Chapel of Manchester Funeral
Home. Private interment services will be held at Oakwood Cemetery in
Tullahoma, TN. Visitation will be held Saturday from 11:00 AM until time of services.
Randy was born June 8, 1944 in Coffee County, TN the son of Etha Jackson Evans
and the late Louis Abraham "L.A." Evans. He attended Central High School in
Manchester and received his Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from
the University of Tennessee Knoxville. He then served in the United States Air
Force during the Vietnam Era and was honorably discharged after two years of
service. In 1973, he attended UTSI, where he obtained his Master's Degree in
Computer Science. Randy was a member of the Acacia Fraternity and an avid UT fan.
He was a Ph.D. candidate in Aviation Systems Technology at UTSI and worked
for Lockheed Martin Division. He was an entrepreneur, inventor, stock broker and
business appraisal consultant for several companies. He was founder of one of
the first computer game companies, Aladdin Automation. In addition to his
mother, Etha Evans of Manchester, he is survived by his wife of 22 years, Marta
Trujillo-Evans; daughter, Maranda Evans, both of Albuquerque, NM; brother and
sister-in-law, Terry and Carol Ann Evans of Oak Ridge, TN and sister, Glenda
Parson of Manchester and mother-in-law, Ofelia Trujillo of Phoenix, AZ.

MAHONEY, LOIS JACKSON - 91, of Oliver Springs, died Thursday, October 28,
2004 at Life Care of Morgan County. She was born November 16, 1912 in Morgan Co.,
the daughter of John C. and Susan Jones Jackson. She was a member of New
Mountain View Baptist Church of Oliver Springs, where she served as pianist for
many years. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her
husband, H. T. Mahoney in 1968; daughter, Emma Jean Whaley in 1997; Brothers, Clay,
Lloyd and Max Jackson and sister, Pauline Jackson. She is survived by son,
Howard B. Mahoney and wife Carol of Waycross, GA; daughters, Judith M. Eaton and
husband Lynn and Carolyn Stein and husband Julian; son- in-law, Leonard Whaley,
all of Oliver Springs; 7 grandchildren, Mark Stein of Palo Alto, CA; James
Stein of Shelton, CT; Jay Stein of Vienna, VA; Katherine Whaley Duncan of
Andersonville; Glenda Cloutier of Cranberry Township, PA; Paulette Higginbottom of
Marietta, GA and Howard Mahoney, Jr of Maceo, KY. She is also survived by 8
great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, October 31, 2004 at
2:00 pm with Rev. Joe Copeland officiating. The burial will follow at
Anderson Memorial Gardens. The family asks that any memorials be in the form of
contributions to New Mountain View Baptist Church, 381 Mahoney Rd., Oliver Springs,
TN 37840 or Life Care Center of Morgan County, 419 S. Kingston St., Wartburg,
TN 37887. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 1:00- 2:00 pm at

TUTTON, SUE WALLACE - age 76, of Clinton, passed away Thursday, October 28,
2004 at Methodist Medical Center. She was a member of Sinking Springs United
Methodist Church and very active with the U.M.W. She was much loved and will be
deeply missed. Preceded in death by husband, Jack Milton Tutton; parents,
Alvin & Emma Wallace; sister, Frances Wallace & brother Alvin Wallace Jr.
Survivors: sons, Joseph Tutton of Clinton, Clinton Tutton of Knoxville, Samuel Tutton &
wife Liz of San Diego, CA; daughter, Delora & husband Kim Elder of Athens;
sisters, Sara Wallace of Etowah, Lillian Proctor of Kingston; grandchildren,
Jennifer Zumaya, Steffanie Elder, Adria Tutton; great grandchildren, Kendra
Zumaya. The family will receive friends 4:00-5:00 PM, Saturday, October 30, 2004
at Holley-Gamble Funeral Home with funeral services following in the chapel
with Rev. Lisa Stone officiating. The burial will be 3:00 PM, Sunday at Sunset
Memory Garden in Cartersville, Georgia. Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton is
in charge of all arrangements.

WHITE, STEVEN WAYNE, SR. - age 47, of Oak Ridge passed away Friday October
29, 2004 at the St. Mary's Hospice in Knoxville, TN. Services will be held
Sunday October 31, 2004 8:00 pm in the Chapel of Martin Oak Ridge Funeral Home.
Graveside services will be held Monday November 1, 2004 11:00 am Woodhaven
Memorial Gardens Claxton, TN. The family will receive friends Sunday 6:00 to 8:00 pm
