Hi Gerald
can you tell me who the Gibsons were that left under pressure, I have been told that one of my great, great uncles had killed a sheriff (
He and his son) and had to leave but i could never find out which ones did this. and you know how a lot of tales and ghost stories were told, but this was supposed to be the truth.

Out of curiosity what is your direct line of Gibsons?

I know there were some here in Elk Valley TN. that left and went to GA. (
UNDER PRESSURE ). This Gibson had a brother Henry who lived IN Scott/Morgan?
county around Montgomery, I think? They owned slaves.
