Glen Henry Hensley, 84, of Clinton,
Margaret P. "Peggy" Holmes, 84, of Bartlett, Tenn., formerly of Oak Ridge,
Brandon Lee Wilder, 23, of Bledsoe, Ky.,

Glen Henry Hensley, 84, of Clinton, died Wednesday, Aug. 3, 2005, at Mariner
Health of Norris. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army who served in World War
II. He retired from the state's highway department. He was preceded in death by
his parents, Rufus and Roxie Wright Hensley, and a brother and sister, Dean
Hensley and Lillian Freels. Mr. Hensley is survived by his wife of 54 years,
Gladys Hensley of Clinton; his brother, Vaughn Hensley and wife, Linda, of
Knoxville; sisters-in-law, Esther Parks of Briceville, Debbie Lough and Shirley
Lowe, both of Oliver Springs; brothers-in-law, Leon Lough and wife, Marianne,
Albert Lough and wife, Lillie Fay, and Lloyd Lough, all of Oliver Springs; and by
several nieces, nephews and many friends. The funeral will be at 8 p.m.
Saturday, Aug. 6, 2005, in the chapel of Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton with
the Rev. J.C. Newman officiating. Burial with full military honors will be
held at 1 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 7, at Anderson Memorial Gardens, Oliver Springs
Highway. The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
Holley-Gamble Funeral Home is in Clinton in charge of arrangements.

Margaret P. "Peggy" Holmes, 84, of Bartlett, Tenn., formerly of Oak Ridge,
died Wednesday, July 20, 2005, at St. Francis Hospital-Barlett. Her love in life
was her marriage and family. She was a homemaker and a member of the Red Hat
Society. Mrs. Holmes and her husband, David K. Holmes, moved to Oak Ridge
about 1948, and lived here until about 1980, her family said. She was preceded in
death by her husband, David, and by her son, Reed K. Holmes. Mrs. Holmes is
survived by her son, Mark D. Holmes of Albuquerque, N.M.; and four
grandchildren, Mica, Carly, Erin and Katherine Holmes.

Brandon Lee Wilder, 23, of Bledsoe, Ky., departed this life Wednesday, Aug.
3, 2005, in Cloverlick, Ky., from injuries sustained in a mining accident. He
was born Sept. 24, 1981, in Harlan, Ky. Mr. Wilder was a coal miner employed by
Black Mountain Resources, Stillhouse Mine. He was also a member of Sand Hill
Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Kermit and Ella
Jane Wilder. Mr. Wilder is survived by his parents, Johnny and Barbara
Halcomb; his wife, Kimberly McBee Wilder and unborn daughter, Madison Lee Wilder; his
daughter, Ella Cheyenne Wilder; his grandmother, Ruby Wilson, all of Bledsoe,
Ky.; and special grandmother, Trill Lewis of Gilley, Ky.. He is also survived
by his brothers and sisters, Ronnie Wilder and wife, Courtney, of Oak Ridge,
Tyler Halcomb of Bledsoe, Justin Wilder of Caryville, Travis Wilder, Wesley
Wilder and Dawn Wilder, all of Clinton, Jody, Leann, Linda and John; his birth
parents, Donald Wilder of Lenoir City and Rhonda Brock of Harlan, Ky.; his
mother-in-law, Paulette McBee of Norris; his father-in-law, Gary McBee of Oak
Ridge; a brother-in-law, Chris McBee of Oak Ridge; and several other relatives and
friends. The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 6, 2005, at Sand Hill
Baptist Church with the Rev. Jimmy Jenkins, the Rev. Mark Lewis, the Rev.
Herbert Lewis, and the Rev. Ervin Burchfield officiating. Burial will follow at
Farley Cemetery in Bledsoe. Family and friends will serve as pall bearers. The
family will receive friends from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, Aug. 5, in the chapel of
Mount Pleasant Funeral Home in Harlan, Ky. Mount Pleasant Funeral Home in charge
of arrangements.
