I don't know anything about the names Lynch & Blair but the "Ovie" caught my
eye. My mother always said her name was Ovie Estelle Gregory b.Jan 21, 1919
Macon Co. Tn. When I finally located her on the 1920 census and in other
records she was listed as "Ova E." I had always wondered where the Ovie
came from (have seen it several times since)but when you say Ova E. fast it
does sound like "Ovie." I did not find out about her name until after she
passed away and I think she always thought her name was Ovie. Just a
thought that your Ovie also might be Ova.

WHERE are these people from? I have just looked in the ancestry index for
1920 and 1930. I can find NONE of these names. If your names and dates are
correct, you should find Gary & Lillie with, at least, Ovie (you probably
need the real form of this nickname to do the search) in the 1920 census. I
did a soundex search for the entire US in 1920 and 1930, and none of these
names come up. Sorry!
