Hey Charlie,
Just noticed this one sentence. Have you ever seen any paperwork to where
James J. (I) Gregory took care of Mary "Polly" Gregory Shoulders' death? My
mother found something many many moons ago that stated that James I. was
Mary's administrator but dang if we can figure out where she found this
info.
It either had to be when she made the trip to Smith County or to the Ft.
Wayne
Library. Of course everyone NOW knows how imperative and important it is to
site your sources but this was when we first started and she didn't note it
then.
Just wondering.............
Never did hear from your friend that needed help with the DAR papers. I
guess
she figured everything out for herself then? I'm sure each chapter has the
same
guidelines now, or at least something close to it. I got lucky and they
accepted
xerox copies of books that were printed. Otherwise it would have been
difficult
to prove.
