Brenda, you'll want to check this all out for yourself. But I believe Caroline Thomas b. March 20, 1839 d. June 18, 1912 is daughter of William Young Thomas and Narrcissa J. Searcy.

In 1880 Jackson Co. census I believe this is your Gerome (Jerome) S. Thomas and he is listed as a nephew to William W. Thomas. I believe this is the William W. "Darb" Thomas (son of William & Narrcissa Searcy Thomas) that married Mary Alice Kemp in 1894?

I don't know who Gerome's parents were but must have been one of William & Narricissa Searcy Thomas children?

I don't have 1870 info for Jackson Co. Jerome would have been about 8 years in 1870 if this is him in 1880.

In my 'Grannie's' pictures, I found a copy of an old framed picture that
'Grannie' has listed on the back as being "Big Mama Caroline Thomas Duke and her
husband Wesley Henry Harrison Duke".

I am trying to figure out how they relate to 'Grannie's' parents who were
Annie Belle Woodard and Ferd Thomas. Annie Belle was the daughter of Bates and
Margaret Isabelle Agee Woodard. Ferd was the son of Jerome Stragland Thomas and
Gillie Ann Burton.

Can anyone help me with this puzzle?

Brenda
