| Violet McCoy Slatton, 92, passed away April 24, 2003.
| Slatton was born Dec. 30, 1910, in Van Buren County, TN to John McCoy and
| Ella Lawson McCoy.
| She had been a homemaker.
| McCoy was preceded in death by one son, Carl Melton Slatton; parents;
three
| sisters; and three brothers.
| Survivors include her husband, Kenneth Slatton of Doyle; one son and
| daughter-in-law, Leonard and Dorothy Slatton of Doyle; two grandsons and
| spouses, Robert and Joyce Slatton of Doyle and Jimmy and Joan Slatton of
| McMinnville; two great grandchildren, Misty Slatton and Robert Justin
Slatton
| both of Murfreesboro; one step great granddaughter, Courtney Daniel of
| Franklin; one sister, Lodemia Cummings of McMinnville; one brother, Joe B.
| McCoy of Cummingsville; and several nieces and nephews.
| Arrangements:
| Services were eat 5 p.m., April 26, 2003, at High Funeral Home with burial
in
| McElroy Cemetery.
| High Funeral Home in McMinnville was in charge of arrangements.
