The Ross family that you mention is the same Ross line that my line is
from.Edward Ross and his brother William came to Washington Co.in the late
1700's.Their sister Jane Ross was married to Thomas Gillis and they also
lived in Washington Co (this is my line).I have some documentation and some
info shared by another Ross researcher.What are you trying to find out? I am
still gathering info on this Ross line in Tn.I know that the father to the
above children was John Ross that came from Ireland and that there was a son
named John Ross also but I think that he stayed in Va.Botetourt.There were
two other sisters an Elizabeth that married Edward Cather and lived in
Ky.and a Mary that married a McDonald.Let me know if you this is of any
help.Also I would love to have your line and what you know about William and
his family.Edwards family lived and stayed in Washington Co. I think that
Jane died inWashington Co.but I am not sure where and when. Connie Kelly
