Is there anyone who might be able to help me with this?

Susan Catherine LEE born May 1, 1851 in Waynesboro.
Daughter of William Carroll LEE and Manerva LOUZADER. Born May 15, 1829.
Died in Missouri.

The story is that William went off to serve in the war and never came home.
Manerva took Susan and her 3 sisters(names unknown) and went to Missouri to
start over.

I am stuck. Family lore is that they are somehow connect to Robert E. LEE
but that is a what my grandmother says that her dad told her that his mom
told him kind of thing.

I would greatly appreciate any help or suggestions.
