Mrs. Elizaeth mcLEAN died at home near Dresden on the 29th

Edgar KING, young farmer, turned up a curious little reptile, which has
everyone puzzled. No one can identify what it is.
Obit for Gilbert PATTERSON of near Greenfield who died on the 31st.
One of the few remaining pioneers of Weakley. Age 86.
Helen JONES began teaching school this week at Lane View.
Dr. C.R. ROWLAND of Union City has offices at Cashon’s Hotel.
Mrs. Sina C. STUBBLEFIELD of Martin, visited her nephew, Mr. G.S. BOYD
and family this week.
Rev. A.W. FLOYD, ill for several days. His condition is alarming.
Mrs. BROWN & sister Mrs. Ellen GATES of McKenzie visited their brother,
Mr. R.D. ROGERS and family this week.
Mrs. L.B. AYRES and nephew, Master Garland AYRES, visited Fulton, Ky.
Miss Josie ROOKS of Humboldt returned home Tuesday from a visit of
several weeks to her sister Miss Hattie ROOKS.
Mr. C.E. KILLGORE of Texas, visited his old home near Ralston.
Mr & Mrs Bud BODEN of Henry Co., visited brother, Mr. A.V. BODEN.
Mrs. R. LEWIS visited Greenfield ast Friday. Was guest of her cousin,
Mrs. Ned BARTON and family.
Caruthers EWING, chief clerk of the senate, is spending his recess at home.
He will resume duties May 9th for the impeachment trial of Judge DuBOSE.

Nellie Gray KILLEBREW is very sick with threatened attack of pneumonia.
J.W. FOWLER of St. Louis, visiting mother a few miles north of town.
W.G. NIX of St. Louis visiting as guest of Mrs. Mary KIRKPATRICK.
J.P. TAYLOR and F.H. CHANDLER have exchanged homes.
Gus ATKINS and Miss Chick ATKINS of Gleason, married last week.
Miss Minnie CHILES closed her school for several days, due to her going
to the bedside of her brother, Harsh, who was sick in Nashville.
Walter B. KNIGHT, editor of the Greenfield Times, was in Dresden Monday.
James NORTHCUTT is recovering from injuries in a railway accident.
