I was actually thinking of doing a Virginia census (since that's where I'm
from, but maybe I'll get my feet wet and do a Weakly Co. one first....you
all seem to really have your act together.
I have access to HeritageQuest, so no problem looking at images. How
do I sign up to do the 1930 one?

Thank you for your interest!
You can transcribe from either microfilm found at a library in
your area or can purchase a CD for about $15 and do it off your
computer. For the 1930 Census, there are fairly detailed helps
for transcribers from link off 1930 census page. Study what
others have done and for the first page or two it will seem
strange but after awhile the format goes smoothly. The 1930
census for Weakley is on 2 different CD's with Districts 1-17 on
one and Districts 18-25 on second.

BTW: I have a CD of Districts 1-17 if someone would like to
borrow it.
Thanks,
