My sister and I were just commenting on the way home from church today about
the trees being so pretty with all the different colors. The Bradford Pears
are a beautiful red, and then there are the yellows and oranges. So Texas
does have pretty fall colors sometimes. Today I think the temperature is in
the 80's. I am ready for some cooler weather. However, I don't like it
really cold. Guess that's why I stay still in Texas. Ha!

I used to live in Garland from 88-91. My great great uncle was a Baptist
Minister in Dallas until his death at 102 a few years ago. My great cousin,
Ruby Jean, still lives there. We lived over by Lake Ray Hubbard. Texas was
hot for me, toooooo hot. We are from Northern Nevada (45 miles se of Reno) in
a town of under 3000 again.

My maternal family hails from Paris Tx (grandfather) and Arkansas
(grandmothers family)
